A. Just click on the time stamp on the message itself:

(where it says "less than a minute ago")

Why would we put emphasis on a single cached twitter page? And when should we use this technique? :-)

Brian, I personally do not see any productive uses for it, unless you want people to see just one tweet.

It's useful in the PR world--say someone tweets about a product you've been pitching and you want to include it in a coverage recap. You wouldn't put every tweet the person has ever written, just the one(s) that's relevant to your product.

It is also useful if you are conducting a 'retweet' competition, so you can link people to the exact tweet you need to be retweeted.

You can get to the cache page for a single tweet by clicking on the timestamp. Hover over the particular tweet, and it will make 2 days ago, or 18 hours ago, or whatever a hyperlink. It's beside the favorite link.

Wow, I never noticed that the question was answered at the top.

To add to what others said, journalists and celebrity bloggers use the links to link back to particular tweets. If they are particularly embarassing and you think they may get removed, it's best to just screenshot it.

I wouldn't have even linked my site if I didn't think I was answering the question. I went to another site though when looking for this because I didn't see the answer. It's a pretty bad site design I guess.

Essential tips, though there is tons of tricks, but I found it very essential for me. Thanks author for your great sharing.

Ok ...So I click on the time stamp and it brings up the tweet I want to link but it also brings up a another 7-8 related tweets. How do I get those out of the link ?
