Twitter Tips and Tricks

I opened a personal twitter account and one with my employer. Both accounts routinely get followers of an adult nature (porn) which I immediately block. Is this happening because of the way I set up the accounts or does this happen to everyone?

Thanks,

Paul

Happens to everyone, especially people that tweet "Hey, does anyone know any good porn sites?" You can continully block these unwanted followers, but does it really matter? You are not following them so you cannot see their smut, they are just following you in hopes that you will follow them back. Ignoring them is just as effective.

Bo:

Thanks. I will pass your info along to my boss and his boss when they come to me asking why we have followers of questionable character.
