One time saver and feature rich tool I use is Power Twitter for Firefox. Power Twitter is a add-on for the free Firefox browser (Mac or PC..they are working on an add-on for Safari and Google Chrome as well) that really changes your Twitter experience. Have you ever wondered how one of your Tweeples was able to insert an entire video within their 140 character post area? Or have you seen full photos in posts and wondered how the heck they did that...well Power Twitter is how. Here are just a few of the features they offer:

  • Allows you to shorten URL's with one click.
  • Allows you to UPLOAD PHOTOS within your post.
  • Upload videos -inline YouTube, Flickr, TwitPic, Google Maps, song.ly, and more.
  • Integrates with Facebook for seamless timesaving posts between both apps.
  • Allows you to search for users FAR easier than the standard Twitter interface.
  • It expands the URL's of shortened links so you can decide if you want to click thru.

It is really a slick tool and one that I miss when I use Twitter on a different computer.
